Year 6 Residential
Our Year 6 travelled to Clanfield Adventure Plus for their Year 6 residential. They joined the children of Queen Emma's Primary School for three days of fun and activities. The children enjoyed a HUGE range of activities, including: archery, rock climbing, slack lining, mountain biking, fencing, problem solving, team building and a campfire.
The staff there were fantastic, they quickly built a positive rapport with our Year 6.
Our Year 6 children returned, tired and a bit soggy but all having learnt something new and many with new friendships too.
Pupil Voice:
"We played a great game which involved using Jenga to build while using our socks to knock down the buildings of our opponents. I really enjoyed all of the activities. My favourites were fencing, archery and rock climbing. Also, the food was tasty!" Jack.
"I enjoyed camp even though I found it tough at times. The fun activities had us learning new things like: fencing, bike riding and I faced my fear of heights when rock climbing. I recommend it to next years Year 6." Charlie.
"I made lots of new friends. I enjoyed archery, biking and fencing. All of the workers there were really nice and so were the girls in my cabin." Ellie.
"I made a new friend and I really enjoyed rock climbing and biking. I also really enjoyed the free time we got during breaks." Ethan.
