Our Library
Our school library is amazing. Every Friday we change our books once we have finished them, supported by a wonderful parent helper. Pupils are encouraged to read for pleasure at home and to have an adult read to them as much as possible. Our wonderful library is orderly and perfectly-formed. Pupils thoroughly enjoy spending time in there.
Here is what some of us think about the library:
"The library is fun and entertaining. A great place if you want to be calm! I love the 13-Storey Treehouse by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton because it is hilarious" ~ Bethany, Year 6.
"The library is a calm and relaxing place. It is a good place to relax! I like all of the books - there is not one that I don't like!" ~ Charlie, Year 5.
"On Friday we love changing our books. I enjoy spending time choosing from the selection available to us." ~ Wilf, Year 4.
"I am really enjoying reading books and changing them. I have recently enjoyed the Rainbow Magic books and am currently reading Luna the Loom Band Fairy by Daisy Meadows. ~ Lexi, Year 3.
